The design process of the Stûv 16-fireplace has been measured with empathy, evidenced in the product??s ease of installation in the British home. Once the opening is prepared ?? only 350mm depth required ?? the log box in put into place and the firebox wheels over the top, handily dropping in to place. The flue is then attached through the opening, finally sliding the surround on to the unit to complete the installation. The 16 Suite can offers a dry installation, a considered approach.
Suitable for a low-energy house, the 16-fireplace can receive it??s combustion air from the room or directly into the combustion chamber from a sealed external air source. Fresh air can be drawn from an adjacent room and warm air may be ventilated out into other parts of the home. With the 16-fireplace, the whole house can enjoy the warmth of the fire.
With heat outputs ranging from 6 kW to 10 kW, a fuel efficiency of 80% and three different sizes available, the 16-fireplace will find itself suited to many types of homes. Each of the three sizes, the 16/58, 16/68, and the panoramic 16/78, varies in it??s width. Each fireplace is supplied complete as a suite: stove, log box and white surround included, offering the prestige of a Stûv at a more affordable entry-point.
