LUXURY, LEISURE AND HISTORICAL HERITAGE
In the national monument, architectural influences from the New Hague School are organically interwoven with influences from other movements. The new interior was created by Nicemakers design studio with a sympathetic eye for detail for the unique architecture and the surrounding environment. The lively Albert Bar & Lounge’s characteristic and incomparable atmosphere makes it a vibrant place where guests and residents of The Hague meet each other in a relaxed manner, while The Deli’s inviting aromas of freshly baked bread and other Dutch delicacies are sure to entice visitors and locals alike. The various meeting and event rooms – one of which includes its own kitchen and small cinema – make De Plesman equally attractive for both formal and informal meetings and events. With a mezzanine that can hold up to 70 people and a large, sunny terrace that can accommodate 100 guests, Restaurant Suus will be the ideal place for both business and private meetings.

“De Plesman will be a unique destination where everyone feels at home and can enjoy personal service in a stylish environment,” says Willem van Emden, managing director of De Plesman. “The special history, the rich character of this Hague landmark and everything we have to offer will ensure that a stay at De Plesman will be more than just an overnight stay.”

To complement the building’s design and in collaboration with a local gallery, De Plesman’s team have curated their own art collection, a unique mix of works by renowned artists including Casper Faassen, Soo Burnell, Levi Jacobs and Jeroen Hofman.

All De Plesman rooms feature high ceilings, and the 30 studios and suites have stylish kitchens, making them ideal for longer stays. The absolute jewel in the De Plesman crown is the eye-catching signature Plesman Suite, located in the former office of Albert Plesman himself. Original elements, such as the wooden panelling, have been retained and combined with exceptional design and unrivalled comfort for an unforgettable stay.
