2024 Inspire Future Generations Awards – ENTRIES OPEN

Now in its fourth year, these unique awards, Inspire Future Generations Awards, have been organised by Thornton Education Trust (TET) and highlight organisations and initiatives that place children and young people at the centre of designing inclusive environments. Previous winners have included initiatives from built environment practices such as: AHMM, Jan Kattein Architects and Sarah Wigglesworth Architects.

These awards showcase exceptional efforts in youth and children engagement by architects and built environment professionals, spotlighting individuals and organisations that go beyond mere tick-box commitments to produce meaningful participation and co-design.

This year, Thornton Education Trust have introduced three new categories: Climate Change, Health & Place, and Development Companies.

The impact of these initiatives extends far beyond recognition, serving as a catalyst for positive change in shaping the built environment for years to come. These awards provide an unprecedented opportunity for built environment professionals and enablers to come together and celebrate all their achievements.

These projects form the basis of a unique resource for future projects and developments commissioned by public or private sector clients.

SUBMITTING: Open to architectural and built environment practices, local authorities, developers and organisations bridging the gap between the built environment and young people. Organisations can submit their initiatives in one of 18 categories by 15 November 2024 at the following link: https://www.thorntoneducationtrust.org/ifg-awards-2024-original
