The most beautiful hotel in the world according to the Prix Versailles 2024

The Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel has been rewarded by the Prix Versailles 2024 as “the most beautiful hotel in the world”.

Announced annually at UNESCO since 2015, the Prix Versailles is a series of architectural competitions highlighting the finest contemporary achievements worldwide. At the crossroads of different disciplines, the World Jury’s mission is to award twenty-four World Titles from among the Sites selected, in the categories of Airports, Campuses, Stations and Stations, Sports, Museums, Department Stores, Hotels and Restaurants.

Winners are recognized for their major role in “beautifying and improving their living environment”.

The awards, which pay tribute to innovation, creativity, local heritage, ecological performance, and the values of conviviality and participation to which the United Nations is committed, are in line with the principles of intelligent sustainability – taking into account ecological, social and cultural impacts.

Redesigned in 2023 by Bernard Dubois, the Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel is now renowned for its modernist, minimalist style. The architect has created a sober, geometric construction, with clean lines and curves reminiscent of the houses in Palm Spring, California.

Light-colored plaster and granite, broken stone floors and rough-hewn wood furnishings are reminiscent of Mediterranean villas.

Le Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel is a mineral building with a sunny feel, turned towards the outdoors, the beach, the exotic garden. Integrated into nature, it plays with the sunlight to capture every perspective.
