From staircases and beds to gates and signage, Overwrought are the creators of bespoke metal designs, working closely with their clients to achieve a unique and quality finish.
They work with their clients from the initial design stage through to the manufacture and installation. Whilst they are renowned for their metal staircases, they also have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of metal beds, furniture, gates, and garden sculptures, as well as many individual commissions.
Overwrought provide a flexible service; they are able to use their expertise to design independently or to work closely alongside a client to create a collaborative design, no matter how simple or complex.
Founded in the early nineties by owner Steve Park, the majority of Overwrought’s work is from clients wanting original design pieces. “Our clients are usually looking for designs with flair,” says Steve. “The architect will send over the drawings, then we will have a site meeting, and develop the project from there – it usually takes about 6 weeks from the start of the initial design process through to fitting.”
“My main focus is to always make the client happy,” Steve continues. “It is also of high importance to develop good working relationships with the builder and the architect.”
