For the new MINI showroom, Dejonckheere, Roeselare, architecture firm Buro II & ARCHI+I selected Print Acoustics, a division of Triplaco, to provide its Dr panels for their ability to coordinate with the architectural scheme inside.
Triplaco is specialised in the development, production and delivery of acoustical timber panels for wall, ceiling, furniture and objects. The panels are composed of an acoustic black MDF core board and a large choice of top layers in HPL Abet laminati (536 colours in stock), high-end veneer Decospan, lacquer, woven vinyl Ntgrate or digital print finish. Hugo Van Leuven, Senior Interior Architect, Buro II & ARCHI+I commented, “To improve the visibility of the MINI and BMW Premium Selection cars, the owner BMW Dejonckheere decided to build a second new showroom opposite the main location in Roeselare. The layout of the building site was a surface 170m Long and 30m wide rectangular shape. All functions, except the MINI tower were clamped between a concrete ground base and a concrete rooftop over the full surface of the construction site. This creates a very open structure for the project. The showroom is located on the first and second floor in a vertical transparent tower… For the interior, we sourced acoustic panels that could be coordinated with other architectural colour choices such as concrete, glass and powder-coated aluminium. We have found the perfect solution with the Type Dr of Print acoustics.”
