Electrochromic Glazing CPD

The ways in which electronically tintable glass can improve building energy performance, enable more sustainable building design and construction, and create a more comfortable environment for occupiers are outlined in a new RIBA approved CPD seminar by glass and glazing specialist GLASSOLUTIONS. ?An introduction to Electrochromic Glazing: Dynamic Control of Solar Heat Gain and Glare?? by the Saint-Gobain Group company, which recently launched SageGlass in the UK, explains the sustainability and performance benefits of electrochromic or ?active?? glass for windows, skylights and curtain walls, that tints or clears to modulate solar heat gain and glare. The seminar demonstrates how electrochromic technology works, operates and performs; how it can benefit building designers, clients and occupiers; and how it can be integrated into facades. This is the second RIBA approved CPD seminar developed by GLASSOLUTIONS, which also offers an interior glass specification seminar.
