Based in the East Midlands, just north of Newark in the historic market town of Tuxford, Olsen??s headquarters boasts a large showroom adjoined to the offices with over 30 fully working samples of products from traditional timber sash windows to modern aluminium folding doors. Olsen also have two other permanent displays across the country, one in London and the other in Swindon to enable potential clients to experience the true quality offered first hand.
With over 30 years experience in the industry, Olsen have developed links with the most advanced factories in Europe and Scandinavia and are able to offer folding doors from the world renowned German manufacturer Sunflex, architectural doors and windows from the esteemed Swedish manufacturer Hajom as well as a whole range of other products from various other factories.
Core products are timber framed with the option to add external aluminium cladding for a low maintenance solution. The timber, most commonly Pine or Oak, is responsibly sourced from managed forests and the profiles are laminated, engineered sections, which offer an enhanced life span. With double-glazing or triple glazing units technical performances are of the highest available, for example sliding doors can be manufactured with U-values as low as 0.8W/m2K.
