The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) July 2013 comes into force from 01/07/2013 and it will, from that point, become mandatory for manufacturers of all Construction Products covered by harmonised European Standards (hENs) or conforming to a European Technical Assessment (ETA).
The legislation requires manufacturers to CE mark certain product ranges which are used as construction products and it will be illegal to send out products which are not CE marked when covered by a harmonised European standard. In order to comply, CE marking will therefore need to be provided on all products which are required to conform and have been manufactured on or after the 1st July 2013.
Everbuild??s products will be updated to comply with the new CE Marking format on packaging and labelling as defined by the Construction Products Regulation. Declaration of Performance certificates for all products affected will be available to view on the relevant products page of the Everbuild website from the 1st July 2013.
Products manufactured before 1st July 2013 that do not have CE Marking or comply with the new requirements may still be delivered to customers after the 1st July. These will still be eligible for resale or use.
Rest assured that as one of the UK??s leading Sealant, Adhesive and Construction Chemical Manufacturers Everbuild have everything in place to ensure that we are fully compliant and you can guarantee that anything you purchase from the 1st July 2013 will be fully certified for Factory Production Control (FPC).
