Due to popular demand the deadline for this year??s Wood Awards has been extended to Friday 31st May.

As the timber industry??s premier award scheme for excellence in architecture and furniture with wood, The Wood Awards recognise outstanding design, craftsmanship and installation, as well as promoting timber as a sustainable building material.

Anyone associated with an eligible project, architects, designers, manufacturers, engineers, timber suppliers, consultants or even the client themselves can enter. Contact details of the key companies involved
A brief description of the project, including as much information on the wood, wood products and its sourcing as possible (species, brands, country of origin, etc.)
At least three high resolution, jpeg images

The competition is open to architectural projects and furniture pieces designed in the UK and completed between January 2010 and June 2013 which have not been previously entered.

Application is free and any number of entries can be submitted. A new online entry form on www.woodawards.com, featuring a ??save your progress?? option, makes the process even easier.
