British Precast has announced that its annual exhibition will take place on Thursday 23 May 2013 at King Power Stadium, Leicester.
PRECAST2013 is a dedicated precast event in the UK, bringing together the industry for a day of seminars, demonstrations, Best Practice Awards Lunch, EXPO and the launch of the Precast Flooring Code of Practice.
British Precast is especially pleased to welcome Judith Hackitt, Chair of the Health and Safety Executive who will be launching the Code of Practice at the Drinks Reception, and who will also be a key-note speaker at the British Precast Best Practice Awards Lunch along with Patrick Declerck, President of the European Precast Federation BIBM.
With continuing growth in the number of cyclists on the roads, British Precast is working alongside Leicester City Football Club and CEMEX to promote safer cycling. The company will be holding demonstrations on the day showing the dangers associated with lorries and vulnerable road users. As safety is one of the key themes of PRECAST2013, there will also be demonstrations on the use of forklifts outside of the stadium.
The EXPO will open at 8am and will close at 1.45pm. There will be seminars delivered by experts on relevant industry topics, including safety, sustainability and CE Marking.
