Architecture and urban planning practice Allies and Morrison has been appointed by Canary Wharf Group plc to help create the masterplan for the proposed development of Wood Wharf, a new 20 acre site immediately east of Canary Wharf in central London.
The practice will lead on the design of the masterplan for the mixed-use site, with Terry Farrell and Partners consulting on the scheme as it moves towards a planning application later this year. They will complete an impressive list of architects working on Wood Wharf??s design, including Herzog & de Meuron and Stanton Williams working on individual residential buildings. As well as the outline masterplan, Allies and Morrison are also developing designs for two new office buildings at Wood Wharf.
