Protecta comes to the UK

Protecta, recognised as one of Scandinavia’s leading suppliers of passive fire protection solutions, has announced the opening of its London office. The move into the UK market coincides with the appointment of Dave Oram as the company’s International Sales Manager. Protecta believes that one of the keys to opening up the UK market for its products will be to reach the many specifiers and contractors involved in this diverse industry.

Contractors looking to meet the stringent demands of current building legislation, whilst also needing to maintain margins on their contracts, may find that the Protecta range offers a number of viable alternatives to the more established solutions found in the UK market. One of Dave’s first tasks is to ensure that the proven products from the Protecta range have full UK certification, and he is currently overseeing an extensive fire testing schedule at Warringtonfire. All products are being Certifire certified, and the two first products are already finished. Dave brings to Protecta considerable experience and knowledge of the UK fire protection market, having previously worked for another Passive fire protection manufacturer and specialist fire protection contractor.
