100% Design, running from 19 – 22 September, the ultimate destination for architects and interior designers to discover new trends and emerging talent during LDF 2018.
100% Design is synonymous with the biggest names in design and as one of the UK’s longest standing annual design events, is a leading platform for launching some of the world’s most renowned brands.
With new features, fresh design talents and emerging names alongside a roster of industry favourites, big name brands and innovators it’s the unmissable show for design in London’s creative calendar.
This year, as part of a refreshed programme the show welcomes Thomas Heatherwick, Marcel Wanders and Marcus Fairs to the infamous Talks with 100% Design. Alongside an array of leading names and industry insiders, expect a series of inspiring sessions reflecting the very best in global design, emerging talents and the changing landscape of London’s creative communities.
100% Design will present two new features. Spearheaded by Max Fraser, 100% Futures is a new exhibition celebrating forward-thinking design based on the future of city living. 100% Forward, curated by journalist Barbara Chandler, will highlight eight emerging design talents across furniture, product, lighting and textile design. Each will be championed by an established designer who carved his or her career during the first decade of 100% Design.
International design and lifestyle company YOO participate in this year’s show; co-founded by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox, the company names Marcel Wanders, Kelly Hoppen, Jade Jagger, Mark Davison and Steve Leung as Creative Directors.

Plus, new for 2018, 100% Build London is a dedicated resourcing show for the construction and architectural industry. Within the exhibition Philippe Starck will present a prefabricated house with Riko, a Slovenian engineering and manufacturing brand that specialises in industrial prefabrication and energy production technology. Tesla, a brand focused on accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy, will showcase Powerwall, a device which integrates with solar to store excess energy generated during the day making it available only when you need it, minimising reliance on other forms of energy.
